Sixth grade class kept Shabbat for the first time the day the hostages were rescued

00:00 / 01:04

A 6th-grade class in a Shuvu school in Be'er Sheva decided to spend Shabbat together. For most of the children, this was their first time ever keeping Shabbat. They put away their phones and sang, prayed, and learned Torah together.

After Shabbat, the children were thrilled to learn that 4 hostages were rescued, including Noa Argamani, a resident of Be'er Sheva that some of the children know personally.

Watch the children decribe their experience of keeping Shabbat for the first time, and the beautiful outcome that may have occurred in their merit!
